The major of Physical Education: Concentration in Exercise Science provides a solid foundation for a student who is interested in studying the effects of exercise on the body's pathology, and learning how exercise can reduce or reverse disease progression.
Several disciplines studied will include biomechanics, exercise physiology and biochemistry, exercise nutrition and growth and development.
In the process, you will learn about the human body, how to condition the body and examine how diet can affect the body.
As a Physical Education professional you will help others cope with and prevent injuries, and live longer, healthier lives.
