Elementary Education, Grades K-6 with ESOL

The Department of Education at Palm Beach Atlantic University prepares highly competent teachers for diverse classrooms through academic and clinical experiences.  If you would like to teach children the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, the major of Elementary Education is for you. With the component of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) you will study applied linguistics, including first- and second-language acquisition, and major methodologies and current trends in ESOL teaching and assessment. And, your coursework will also include the study of a foreign language.
