Communication

From understanding mass media to building effective interpersonal skills, the study of communication is fully fostered at Palm Beach Atlantic University.  The major in Communication will prepare students academically for lifelong learning, leadership and service. It emphasizes both contemplation and action, providing students with a liberal arts environment designed to enhance intellectual, spiritual, and personal character development.  Individuals will go out into the community with good oral, written and relational skills. You will enter the wider world with a solid grasp of the time-honored ideas of citizenship, community and commitment to civil discourse.

Students may choose to emphasize a particular area of study within the field of Communication with either the Communication Studies Track, Organizational Communication Track, or Speech Communication Track.
