The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science's major in Mathematics/Secondary Education at Palm Beach Atlantic University is designed to be excellent preparation for a career in mathematics education. The courses offered are up-to-date and academically rigorous. Along with acquiring skill in teaching mathematical concepts, you will examine important learning theories and learning processes,  while emphasizing cultural and environmental influences on the learning experience. Your Faculty

Another has 32 years’ experience as a high school teacher. Yet another worked in institutional research and mathematics curriculum. Most are extremely active in county, state and mathematics associations.
