You will be trained for this experience during orientation and participate in this experience longitudinally with three 5 week blocks dispersed throughout the residency year.
The drug information learning experience is designed to develop independent pharmacist skills in providing all aspects of complete and accurate drug information.This includes systematically searching for information in tertiary, secondary and primary sources both in written and electronic formats.You will continue to enhance their literature evaluation skills to be able to effectively extrapolate pertinent information in clinical trials to make patient care decisions.You will be trained for this experience during orientation and participate in this experience longitudinally with questions and projects throughout the residency year.
