Lambda Pi Eta is the honor society of the National Communication Association.

The Greek name comes from Aristotle's book "Rhetoric," which defines the three ingredients of persuasion: Logos, or "Lambda," for logic, Pathos or "Pi," for emotion and Ethos or "Eta," for character credibility and ethics.
