Alumnae Afternoon Tea

Palm Beach Atlantic University's Alumni Association raised more than $21,000 — nearly double last year's amount — during its annual Alumnae Afternoon Tea on April 18 at the Omphoy Ocean Resort.

Proceeds will benefit the association's scholarship fund. Major sponsors of the event were John and Robin Arrigo and Tiffany & Co.

The afternoon included a silent auction and chance drawing. Prizes, courtesy of Tiffany & Co., were awarded to guests with the most fashionable jewelry. Guests also enjoyed a presentation by Tiffany & Co. representatives on developing their personal style through jewelry.

The alumni association will award 29 scholarships to deserving PBA students this year.

The Afternoon Tea Committee members are Josephine Bayard, Natalie Alvarez, Ann Marie Batten, Kelly Queen Chandley, Jeana Vassalotti Colby, Freddie Cox Daughtridge, Janie Thomas Fogt, Lisa Bracciale-Marburger, Gina Riniker, Gina Sabean and Deborah Bowmar-Jaffe, director of alumni relations.
