We offer Transfer Advising, Academic Support Services, Disability Services, FYE, Bridges, and SOAR (Student, Orientation, Advising, Registration,) -- a one day new student orientation event. The Student Success Center is where you come to invest in you.
PBA wants you to succeed. To help make this happen, we offer peer and online tutoring, academic coaching, enrichment workshops, a Waypoint Early Alert System, and progress reporting. Click here for more information.
This program is designed for first-year students who are enrolled in both Pre-Composition English and College Pre-Algebra allowing support and successful transition into a student's first year of college. Participation includes JumpStart (a program allowing you to move on to campus early), bi-weekly mentoring/advising sessions, social activities, academic support and more.
The office for Disability Services is committed to providing quality service and accommodations for students with disabilities. Register today and be eligible to use the resources of our testing center.
The First Year Experience (FYE) program offers you the academic and personal support you need to transition to PBA, including a seminar course that is an extension of your orientation. This program, with the assistance of an FYE advisor and peer mentor, will help with the creation of an academic plan for graduation. It also provides an opportunity to explore other degree programs and learn the fundamentals of being successful in college.
