Ministry: Student Ministries Concentration

Working with youth is important to you -- especially helping to guide their walk with Christ.

A Ministry major with a Student Ministries Concentration will provide you with experience in relationship building through teaching and mentoring. You will gain the knowledge, skills and character essential for fruitful ministry with adolescents in middle school, high school and young adults in college.

You will be equipped  to play a major role in shaping the spiritual life of many born into a generation defined by technology, yet still have a desire to grow spiritually.

With a Student Ministries Concentration, you'll:

  • Develop in two major areas: (1) leadership and organizational skills, and (2) skills that foster the development, nurture and care of adolescents.
  • Receive hands-on experience in teaching and mentoring.
  • Enhance your knowledge and skills through clubs and organizations.
  • Collaboration with fellow students, who come from across the country and around the world.
