Ministry: Christian Social Ministries Concentration

You have an active concern for others. You are interested in pursuing a career in the areas of ministry and social service. The Ministry major with a Christian Social Ministries (CSM) concentration was created to suit your needs. This course of study will provide the knowledge and skills needed for beginning generalist practice within various Christian faith affiliated and secular social service organizations. You will learn how to practice ministry in effective and creative ways, reaching those in need of guidance.

With a concentration in CSM, you'll:

• Receive a theoretical foundation via a Christian worldview and the Generalist Intervention Model
• Be equipped to address issues such as poverty, homelessness, personal and family crisis
• Learn from dedicated Christians who are also experts in their field
• Benefit from one-on-one faculty advising
