News and features of interest to Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy alumni, friends and prospective students.

Thirty information and screen booths offered health screening and counseling on medical conditions. More than 100 pharmacy students staffed the booths under the supervision of faculty and alumni, who are licensed pharmacists. Visitors got counseling on how best to take their medications and they could safely dispose of leftover or expired prescriptions. Blood pressure checks were available and event sponsors CVS and Walgreens offered flu shots for a fee at their booths. Though an early morning rain dampened the tables but not their spirits, organizers said that they expected to serve 200 hundred guests.
