Ministry Faculty to Lead Israel Trip

A visit to the land of Abraham, David, Elijah and Jesus can be a life-changing experience. When the trip to Israel and Jordan is led by School of Ministry faculty, it can be even richer with meaning. Join Dr. Randy Richards and Dr. Jonathan Grenz to experience an unforgettable journey in the land of the Bible in June 2015. From the shores of the Mediterranean Sea to heights of Mount Carmel, from the wilderness of the Negev to the winding streets of Jerusalem, the tour is open to students, faculty, alumni and friends of PBA. Academic credit is available for enrolled undergraduate and M. Div. students.

Throughout the course of his playing career, Palm Beach Atlantic Assistant Head Men's Basketball Coach Eddie Shannon has exceled through adversity and reached amazing heights. This week it was announced that he achieved another milestone for his career, being selected as a 2015 Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame inductee.

Palm Beach Atlantic University makes it a four-peat, ranking among the top 25 colleges and universities in U.S. News & World Report’s 2015 Best Online Education Programs since the survey began four years ago. In ratings announced today, Palm Beach Atlantic is tied with Siena Heights University (Michigan) at 25th. U.S. News rated 214 online bachelor’s degree programs in this survey. Palm Beach Atlantic offers three bachelor’s degree programs completely online: ministry, organizational management and psychology. In addition, the University presently offers one online master’s degree, the Master of Science degree in leadership. Palm Beach Atlantic’s new Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, which begins this month, is a hybrid program offering courses online and on ground. About 25 percent of the University’s traditional student body is enrolled in at least one online course per academic year.
