Palm Beach Atlantic University Provost and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Joseph Kloba recently announced seven faculty promotions.
Dr. Linda Ellington of Melbourne, Fla., was promoted to professor of business. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Palm Beach Atlantic University and a doctor of education degree from Florida Atlantic University, with additional studies at the University of Oxford, University of Warwick, London Business Institute, in the United Kingdom. She joined the University in 2004.
Dr. Diane Esposito of Jupiter was promoted to associate professor of nursing. She earned her B.S.N. at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, her M.S.N. at Adelphi University and Ph.D. at Barry University. She completed additional studies at Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Esposito was hired in 2012.
Dr. Patrick Heyman of West Palm Beach was promoted to professor of nursing. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and his B.S.N., M.S.N. and Ph.D. from the University of Florida. He joined the University in 2004.
Dr. Melvin Holder of Lake Mary, Fla. was promoted to associate professor of leadership. He received his bachelor’s of business administration, M.B.A. and Ed.D. from the University of Memphis. He was hired by Palm Beach Atlantic’s Orlando Campus in 2008.
Dr. Sam Joeckel of Palm Beach Gardens was promoted to Professor of English. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, master’s degree from Baylor University and doctorate degree from Claremont Graduate University. He came to Palm Beach Atlantic in 2002.
Dr. Ann Langlois of Lake Worth was promoted to professor of business. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Bryant College and a doctorate in business administration from Argosy University. She joined the University in 2002.
Dr. Lee Prescott of Boynton Beach was promoted to Professor of English. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Utah and a doctorate degree from Oklahoma State University. She came to PBA in 2003.
