Service Award Recipient Remains True to Alma Mater

Paul Giles will receive the Alumnus Service Award during Homecoming at Palm Beach Atlantic University. PBA is a private, Christ-centered college in West Palm Beach, Fla., USA.

Palm Beach Atlantic University has remained dear to the heart of Paul Giles.

A former Sailfish baseball player and intramural sports competitor, the Orlando resident has imparted his sense of school spirit to the University’s Alumni Association board, serving from 2006 to 2012. He also led the fund-raising committee for the board.

In recognition of his years of service, the Alumni Association will present Giles with the Alumnus Service Award on Nov. 16 during Homecoming.

Giles earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from PBA in 1994. His wife, Sheryll, is also a PBA graduate, and they have three children.

He has spent the past 15 years in the real estate and mortgage businesses, most recently working to assist struggling homeowners, and is the owner/broker of Vintage Properties Group, LLC. As an entrepreneur he has had other business ventures in the past and is currently a distributor and leader for It Works Global, a health and wellness company.

Among his community involvements are Hands of Hope and missions trips, as well as the National Association of Realtors and the Orlando Regional Realtor Association.

Prior to working in real estate and financing, Giles worked in direct sales for a health company for more than a year. From 1997 to 1998, he was an assistant manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Fort Lauderdale airport.

Giles will be recognized during a Homecoming dinner and alumni awards presentation at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, in the Weyenberg Center in the Lassiter Student Center. The event is one of the highlights of Homecoming weekend. For information, visit
