University Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Concerts

Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Hispanic Heritage Festival begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, with a musical performance featuring guitar virtuoso Roberto Capocchi at the Helen K. Persson Recital Hall in Vera Lea Rinker Hall, 326 Acacia Road, West Palm Beach.

On Sunday, Sept. 23, the festival continues at 3 p.m. in the Helen K. Persson Recital Hall with a concert featuring PBA students and alumni vocalists, accompanied by Marcio Bezerra and Estibaliz Gastesi. Both events are free, and tickets are not required.

The festival also will feature poetry readings by members of El Alma Hispana and a master class with Capocchi.

This year’s Hispanic Heritage Festival is sponsored by Classical South Florida 90.7 FM.
