The Lassiter Rotunda outdoor patio will be named for Beverly Fisher White Yeager in appreciation of her charitable donation of $25,000 in support of the Campaign for the Warren Library. The Lassiter Rotunda is an expansive, two-story reading room located at the south end of the Warren Library at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

A resident of Palm Beach, Yeager has held key leadership roles in the government, cultural arts and community. She was appointed by President Ronald Reagan to serve as chairman of the Commission on Presidential Scholars, member of the National Museum Services Board and a member of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.
Yeager has received a number of honors and awards, including Who’s Who in Florida, Who’s Who in American Women, Who’s Who in Government, the World of Who’s Who of Women and Women’s Hall of Fame.
The four-story, 86,000-square-foot library has more than 220,000 volumes, 137 computers and 28 study rooms.
It is named after longtime PBA supporters and close friends of Yeager, Dr. Donald E. Warren and his wife, Bebe Warren. The Lassiter Rotunda is named after Aneice and William G. Lassiter, Jr.
Yeager said that God put it on her heart to give. “I receive manna from heaven, and I never know when it’s coming, but it always comes,” she said. “I believe He gives it to me to bless other people.”
