Palm Beach Atlantic University pharmacy students Shawna Swoope and Theanna Willard have been selected as recipients of the Paul Magalian Student Scholarship Award.
The award was established by the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP) Research and Education Foundation to recognize Florida’s pharmacy students who have an outstanding record of accomplishment and service to the profession of pharmacy.
Swoope and Willard are both fourth-year students in PBA’s Gregory School of Pharmacy. Swoope is from West Memphis, Ark., and Willard is from Lakeland.
In all, seven students were chosen for the award, which includes a $500 scholarship. The recipients will be recognized on Thursday during the FSHP annual meeting in Orlando.
