All 11 varsity teams and the Palm Beach Atlantic University athletics staff volunteered during the first-ever Sailfish Sunday, a community outreach event held at the Greene Complex for Sports and Recreation.

The free carnival-style event featured bounce houses, face-painting, a pie-eating contest and sports-related games involving soccer, baseball and tennis.

We want our student-athletes to know what an amazing impact they can have on God's eternal kingdom simply by showing His love to others, especially children, PBA Athletic Director Bob White said.

SailfishMore than 160 student-athletes took part in the event, which included a talent show featuring all 11 teams performing songs, dance routines and other entertainment acts.

Also, the Sailfish cheerleading squad showed off their skills and took photos with attendees.
