Alumni Association Announces Scholarship Recipients

The Palm Beach Atlantic University Alumni Association recently awarded 29 annual scholarships, which are renewable by undergraduates who remain in good standing at the University. Events such as the Alumni Association Golf Tournament and the Alumnae Afternoon Tea benefit this scholarship fund. The scholarships were awarded to:

  • Christina Alessi, freshman elementary education major from West Palm Beach; daughter of Janet Meckstroth Alessi '83.
  • Ashley Barry, junior nursing major from Glendora, Calif.; sister of Jordan David Barry '09, friend of Zachary Muha '06.
  • Jessica Barry, senior psychology major from Glendora, Calif.; sister of Jordan David Barry '09, friend of Zachary Muha '06.
  • Kristina Darville, P2 pharmacy major from Riviera Beach, Fla.; cousin of Wyndell Darville '91.
  • Christopher Drew, sophomore accounting major from Dover, N.H.; brother of Joshua Drew'08 and Nicholas Drew'09, brother-in-law of Brittany Kiper Drew' 08 and friend of Andrew Fichthorn'07.
  • Jessica Frederick, sophomore communication studies major from West Palm Beach; daughter of Rebecca Sheppard Frederick '07 MEd and Robert Frederick '01 MBA.
  • Daniel Heeney, sophomore business major from Boynton Beach, Fla.; son of June Pittman '08 ORM, brother of Ruth Heeney '09.
