At the Florida Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Dance and Sport conference held recently in Orlando, Palm Beach Atlantic University student Elizabeth Fugate was elected the student representative to the organization's board for the next two years.
In that position, Fugate will represent all the students of Florida. She is a junior majoring in physical education.
Also, Jennifer Michael, an adjunct professor in the University's physical education department, will serve on the board as president of the organization's Association for Educational Leadership.
Denise Breitkreuz, assistant professor of physical education at PBA, was chosen president-elect for the Association for Educational Leadership.
