Directed by Don Butler, the University's assistant professor of theatre, Everyman examines the Christian principles of redemption and salvation through the use of allegorical characters. During Everyman's journey with Death, he encounters the characters Friends, Faith and Good Deeds, to name a few, but can they help him enter the Kingdom of Heaven?

Butler has spent the greater part of his life as a professional actor and director but has taught as an adjunct at a number of colleges and conservatories, including Mountain View College in Dallas, Wagner College on Staten Island, The American Music and Dramatic Academy in New York and Palm Beach State College. He has directed some 60 productions around the country and has had a hand in the establishment of four Equity theaters, including New York's Hypothetical Theatre, Dallas' Lyric Stage, Miami's Actors Playhouse and Palm Beach County's Take Heed Theater Company. He directed each of these theaters' inaugural production.
