Palm Beach Atlantic President Lu Hardin announced a new partnership with Urban Youth Impact and The King's Academy to conduct research on best practices for encouraging under-served youth to succeed in school.
"This partnership is exciting as all three organizations already share a common mission," President Hardin said. "This partnership is designed to identify the best practices of helping transform a young person's life and ultimately helping other inner city projects across the nation to succeed."
"Urban Youth Impact is focused on optimizing our Leadership Academy this year. A strong partnership with The King's Academy has brought us expertise to help our kids improve their reading capabilities," said Bill Hobbs, president and founder. "This new partnership with Palm Beach Atlantic will bring added credibility to our outcomes measuring and give us a better understanding about what is working well for the children and families we serve. These partnerships are putting us on a clear path to success as we seek to become the model faith-based inner-city outreach in Palm Beach County."
President Hardin has selected Eric Lowdermilk, coordinator of student missions, as the lead University researcher on the project.
