Schools Announce Outstanding Fall Graduates

Eight students were recognized as the outstanding graduates of their schools as part of Palm Beach Atlantic University's recent fall 2010 Honors Day ceremony.

The honorees were Christine Adams of Lynn Haven, Fla., outstanding graduate in the School of Arts and Sciences; Analisa Muti of Wellington, outstanding graduate in the Rinker School of Business; Kristina Webb of suburban Lake Worth, outstanding graduate of the School of Communication and Media; Matthew Lowe of Lake Mary, Fla., outstanding graduate in the School of Education and Behavioral Studies; Jason Hammer of West Palm Beach, outstanding graduate in the MacArthur School of Leadership; Caley Meeks of DeLeon Springs, Fla., outstanding graduate in the School of Ministry; Rachel Vaudreuil of West Boylston, Mass., School of Music and Fine Arts; and Ellen Buchanan of Apopka, Fla., outstanding graduate for the Orlando campus.

To be eligible for an Outstanding Graduate Award, the student must have a minimum 3.5 GPA based on 60 credits or more earned at PBA.

In addition, two students were honored by their departments: Ryan Jensen of Blair, Neb., Cinema-Television Department, School of Communication and Media; and Ariel Jasmin Tucker of the Bahamas, Marketing Department, Rinker School of Business.

They, along with other graduates, will receive their degrees in a 2 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach. PBA founding President Dr. Jess Moody will be the featured speaker.
