PBA Inducts Two to Sailfish Sports Hall of Fame

Two Sailfish sports legends have joined the ranks of inductees to Palm Beach Atlantic University's Sports Hall of Fame. They are basketball's Marjorie "Jo-Jo" Vital-Herne, who played from 1999 to 2002, and soccer's Miguel Lemming, who played from 2001 to 2004.
Founding President Dr. Jess Moody to Speak at Fall Commencement

Dr. Jess Moody, founding president of Palm Beach Atlantic University and former pastor of First Baptist Church of West Palm Beach, will be the featured speaker at Palm Beach Atlantic University's Fall Commencement at 2 p.m. December 18 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. The event is open to graduates and guests who hold tickets.
Adult Students Awarded Catherine T. MacArthur Scholarship

Six students in PBA's MacArthur School of Leadership recently received the 2010-2011 Catherine T. MacArthur Scholarship, The scholarship, named for Mrs. MacArthur, is funded by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
Sen. LeMieux Selects Warren Library to House Senatorial Papers

In a speech to the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches today, Sen. George LeMieux (R-Fla.) announced that his senatorial papers and other memorabilia from his 16 months of service in the U.S. Senate will be archived in Palm Beach Atlantic University's Warren Library.

Palm Beach Atlantic University will honor Eileen Burns and Suzanne Wright as Women of Distinction 2011 at a luncheon Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011 at The Breakers, Palm Beach. The event is in its 20th year.
