Volunteer Works to Aid Homeless Children

Starting this fall, former PBA student Amanda Lynch begins working as a volunteer for the AmeriCorps VISTA Program, a national service program designed to fight poverty. She will be based at PBA, and she will be involved in developing and implementing educational programs to assist Palm Beach County children who are homeless.

Join Palm Beach Atlantic University's Gregory School of Pharmacy and the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists as they host "Prescription for Health!" an event to assist and educate the community 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, October 2. Pharmacist and healthcare providers will provide a variety of free services, including consultations and screenings. The free event will be held at CityPlace in downtown West Palm Beach.
