Palm Beach Atlantic University Provost and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Joseph A. Kloba announced that Dr. Leslie Turner, professor of accounting, has been appointed dean for the Rinker School of Business. Dr. Turner came to Palm Beach Atlantic in August 2008, and has served as interim dean of the Rinker School of Business since June 2010.

Palm Beach Atlantic University Provost and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Joseph A. Kloba has announced the appointment of Ann Killets, former chief academic officer for the School District of Palm Beach County, as associate dean for education programs in the University's School of Education and Behavioral Studies, effective July 15.

Dr. Jenifer Elmore, associate professor of English at Palm Beach Atlantic University, recently received PBA's Charles and Hazel Corts Award for Outstanding Teaching.

Eighty-six high schoolers from several states, as well as El Salvador and Puerto Rico, came to Palm Beach Atlantic University this week to take on the Free Enterprise Leadership Challenge, a program of the Jesse Helms Center Foundation.

Cheri du Mee, associate librarian and learning resources consultant for the Warren Library at Palm Beach Atlantic University, recently received the 2013 Volunteer of the Year Award at the closing awards dinner of the Association of Christian Librarians annual conference.

The Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Board of Directors will extend its accreditation of the Doctor of Pharmacy program of Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy through June 30, 2017.
