Youth Arrive Eager to Serve Community During M-FUGE Camp

Palm Healthcare Foundation has awarded Palm Beach Atlantic University a grant totaling $75,000 with the goals of advancing the nursing profession and improving Palm Beach County residents' access to health care.

The Palm Beach Atlantic University Sailfish Summer Sports and Fitness Camp for children ages 6 to 14 will be held during two four-week periods starting June 9. The camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Greene Complex for Sports and Recreation, 1100 S. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach. The camp is aimed at providing children the opportunity to stay active during the summer months. However, the camp is not only about staying active. The counselor staff is made up of NCAA Division II athletes who are excited to share and teach their skills and talents in the sports they love. Campers will learn new skills and techniques from some of the top college athletes in the country.
