Palm Beach Atlantic University Provost and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Joseph Kloba recently announced 12 faculty promotions. Those promoted represent the schools of Arts and Sciences, Communication and Media, Music and Fine Arts, Gregory School of Pharmacy, Education and Behavioral Studies and the MacArthur School of Leadership.
Speiller Named Rothschild Award Recipient

Student Films Earn Nine Awards

Three Palm Beach Atlantic University student film projects have garnered nine awards in recent competitions.
The short films "#1" and "Animus" and a commercial for Palm Beach Motor Cars collectively won a total of five Ava Awards, two Telly Awards and two Aurora Awards.
Beach Boys Share Spotlight with Sailfish Teams

Palm Beach Atlantic University's Lady Sailfish volleyball team embarked on an opportunity of a lifetime on Sunday, playing and dancing with the aging-but-still-hip band the Beach Boys. That night, the PBA cheerleading team performed with the band at the Kravis Center onstage for two songs.

Beach Boys Challenge Sailfish to Pre-Show Volleyball Match

The Beach Boys, known for such hits as "Good Vibrations" and "California Girls," will participate in a beach volleyball game against the Sailfish women's volleyball team at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Lake Worth Beach. The PBA cheerleaders will be on hand for the game, and afterward the cheerleading team will join the band onstage for its performance of the song "Be True to Your School" during an 8 p.m. concert at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.
