New Tool Helps Families Plan College Expenses

The college search is an exciting time for students and their families as they explore the many options for higher education. The excitement, however, can give way to confusion when families begin to compare the costs of attending college.
Palm Beach Atlantic University seeks to help families make informed decisions about college through a Net Price Calculator. The new calculator tool, which was introduced this week, addresses the options and opportunities available for financial aid to pay for college.
Coniglio, Moore 2013 Women of Distinction

Palm Beach Atlantic University will honor Palm Beach residents Gail Coniglio and Danielle Hickox Moore as Women of Distinction 2013 at a luncheon Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at The Breakers, Palm Beach. A pre-luncheon reception begins at 11:15 a.m.; the luncheon follows at Noon.
Tickets, at $150 each or tables of 10 for $1,500, may be obtained from the Palm Beach Atlantic University Development Office by calling 561-803-2971. Proceeds from the luncheon benefit a scholarship fund for deserving female students at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Eric Metaxas, author and radio commentator, will be the featured speaker at Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Spring Commencement at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
More than 480 candidates for bachelor’s, master’s and professional degrees from the West Palm Beach, Orlando, Wellington and online campuses will participate in the ceremony.
The event is open to graduates and guests who hold tickets, and will be live streamed on pba.edu.
Golf Returns to Palm Beach Atlantic as a Varsity Sport

Palm Beach Atlantic University President William M. B. Fleming, Jr. announced Tuesday the addition of a men’s and women’s golf program, which will be led by Craig Watson, a PGA Class A Professional since 1978 who has worked locally as the program director for First Tee of the Palm Beaches.
