The Palm Beach Chamber Music Festival continues performances in the Helen K. Persson Recital Hall in Vera Lea Rinker Hall on Friday, July 12 at 7 p.m. The festival’s co-founders are Karen Dixon, Michael Ellert and Michael Forte. All three have served as adjunct faculty members in the School of Music and Fine Arts.
Works on the second weekend concerts include Ludwig van Beethoven’s Serenade in D Major, Opus 25 for flute, violin and viola; Claude Arrieu’s Dixtour pour Instruments a Vent for 2 flutes, oboe, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, trumpet and trombone; and Amy Beach’s Quintet in f# minor, Opus 67 for 2 violins, viola, cello and piano.
The Palm Beach Chamber Music Festival will run through July 28 with concerts each Friday at 7 p.m. at PBA's Helen K. Persson Recital Hall, as well as Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons off campus.
