62nd Annual National Day of Prayer

May 2, 2013 11:00 AM

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. On Thursday, May 2 at 11 a.m. Palm Beach Atlantic University Campus Pastor Bernie Cueto, Ph.D., and other speakers will lead PBA students, faculty and staff in prayer. This year’s theme, “Pray for America,” is based on Matthew 12:21: “In His name the nations will put their hope.”
