Ms. Kelly brings over 30 years of administrative, professional and pharmacy practice experience to Palm Beach Atlantic University. For 27 years, she held administrative positions first as pharmacy manager, then director of pharmacy services at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach; she was then promoted to system director of pharmacy and pulmonary services serving both St. Mary’s and Good Samaritan Medical Centers in West Palm Beach. Throughout her career she has been called upon to facilitate and consult with numerous healthcare teams where existing processes were analyzed and changes were implemented to improve patient care. She came to PBA in November 2003, with a passion for the profession of pharmacy and the desire to positively influence pharmacy students to be servant leaders in the practice of safe patient care. Her primary area of interest involves instilling a culture of patient safety within future practicing pharmacists. She maintains both her registered pharmacist and consultant pharmacist licenses. She is an active member of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ASHP); the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP); the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP); Rho Chi, an honorary pharmacy society; Phi Lambda Sigma, a pharmacy leadership society; and Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI). She serves as faculty advisor for the Student Chapter of ASHP. She and her husband Rob, who is also a registered pharmacist, have lived in Jupiter since 1979 where they raised their family.
