Dr. Judith Drumm completed her doctorate in nursing science at Florida Atlantic University in August of 2006. Her research focused on the lived experience of student nurses' learning caring in a caring-based curriculum. Dr. Drumm has been a nurse educator since 1992 at the associate and baccalaureate levels. Dr. Drumm was the department chair in nursing at Palm Beach Community College, where she taught pediatric nursing for seven years. She also was the clinical coordinator in nursing at South University for two years. Dr. Drumm is also certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN).

Dr. Drumm has chaired both the Admission/Progression/Graduation Committee and the Social Committee in the School of Nursing since her arrival at PBA in the fall of 2005. In addition to being active on committees within the School of Nursing, Dr. Drumm has also participated on a PBA task force and is active on PBA college-wide committees.

Dr. Drumm holds membership in the Florida Nurses Association, the National Council of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, the International Nursing Honor Society. She is active in her community and parish with various volunteer activities. She and her husband of 30 years are blessed with three beautiful children.
