Dr. Sylvester has had the opportunity to serve Palm Beach Atlantic University as an Adjunct Instructor since 2004. He has been a practicing physical therapist since 1987, and is owner/operator of In-Town Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, in Lake Worth, Florida, since 1993. Dr. Sylvester is recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist. In addition, he is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist within that organization. He currently serves on the Ethics Committee for the Florida Physical Therapy Association and is a past Board Member of the Arthritis Foundation Southeast Chapter. He remains active with the Arthritis Foundation, providing rehabilitation services to the medically indigent. In addition, he currently serves as Vice President of the Rotary of Palm Beach, and is a member of the Rotary Club’s Scholarship Committee.

Residing in West Palm Beach, he and has wife Carrie are proud parents of their two children, Elizabeth and Jack. As a family, the Sylvesters are very committed to Christ and are parishioners of St. Juliana Catholic Church.
