Dr. Turner came to PBA in August 2008 and became the interim dean of the Rinker School of Business in June 2010. Prior to coming to PBA, Dr. Turner was professor and chair of the department of accountancy at Northern Kentucky University and he taught at NKU for 20 years. Prior to that, he taught at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dr. Turner has published several articles in accounting and business journals, including Accounting Horizons, Journal of Accounting Case Studies, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Management Accounting Research, and Strategic Finance. His research interests are ethics integration in accounting courses, and ERP systems in accounting. Dr. Turner is the coauthor of an Accounting Information Systems textbook published by John Wiley and Sons. He is a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Financial Manager, and is a member of the American Accounting Association, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. He and his wife Theresa are active members of Grace Fellowship, and they live near Wellington.
