Kathy Kino has over twenty years of nursing experience in adult and pediatric emergency room, pre-operative, post-operative, and out-patient surgery. For the past two years, she has served as an adjunct professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University; prior to coming to PBA, she served as a chaplain for four years at Good Samaritan Medical Center while pursuing a master’s degree in advanced holistic nursing. Kathy is a board member of Interfaith Health and Wellness, is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and serves as an advocate for Palm Healthcare Foundation. She hosts prayer services and local outreach events, and speaks at women’s conferences, churches, and schools. Her purpose is to encourage and inspire others by giving them hope through her testimony of how Jesus healed and saved her through her battle with cancer. Kathy has a twelve year old son, Townsend, who appeared on the cable series “Chopped Jr.” on the Food Network after cooking healthy meals for her during her recovery from cancer. Kathy and her son attend and volunteer at Christ Fellowship Church.
