Dr. Myles Werntz joins the School of Ministry faculty after completing a postdoctoral fellowship in theology and ethics at Baylor University. Dr. Werntz is the author of Bodies of Peace: Nonviolence, Ecclesiology, and Witness (2014), as well as several other chapters and articles on ecclesiology, war and peace, and Christian witness. He also served as editor of two posthumous volumes of work by the Mennonite theologian John Howard Yoder. He and his wife, Sarah Martin-Werntz, welcomed their first son, Eliot, in April. Dr. Werntz enjoys reading, running, biking, cooking and travel.
