Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dr. Jackson first attended Palm Beach Atlantic University as a college athlete on the men’s varsity basketball team. Upon completion of his pre-pharmacy studies, Dr. Jackson underwent his Doctor of Pharmacy training at Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy. After receiving his doctoral degree, he completed a PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at the West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center. This residency provided a variety of clinical training in both inpatient and outpatient practice settings and allowed for direct instruction of both students and pharmacists. Dr. Jackson now returns to the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy as an assistant professor of pharmacy practice, where he will be involved in the integrated pharmacotherapy sequence, patient care skills with lab, and as a facilitator for both case studies and doctoral seminar. Dr. Jackson is extremely excited to combine his passions of faith and pharmacy and join the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy’s work of impacting future pharmacists for the glory of the Lord. Dr. Jackson is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). He was also inducted as a student and remains active in both the Rho Chi academic honor society and the Phi Lambda Sigma pharmacy leadership society. Additional professional achievements include placing second as a student in the 2011 APhA National Patient Counseling Competition and receiving recognition as the 2012 Outstanding Graduate of the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy. Dr. Jackson lives with his wife Tiffany and daughter Eliana in West Palm Beach, Florida.
