Ms. Thrush came to PBA in August 2007 to teach English online for the MacArthur School of Leadership. She serves as co-director of the online writing center for MSL. Prior to coming to PBA, Ms. Thrush taught English for University of Phoenix, Kaplan University, and Texas A&M University-Commerce. She also taught AP English and developed intense TAKS training programs for public schools in Texas. Ms. Thrush has made several professional presentations. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she has served as Vacation Bible School director and Sunday School teacher. She has two daughters, Stacy and Amy.
