Dr. Grace, associate professor of pharmacy practice, has been serving at Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Lloyd L. Gregory’s School of Pharmacy since 2008. She also serves as a clinical pharmacist at JFK Medical Center. Her primary responsibilities include teaching in cardiovascular pharmacotherapy, gastrointestinal pharmacotherapy, and therapeutic principles of self-care, and is a facilitator in case studies pharmacotherapy. Dr. Grace precepts pharmacy students on their introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences in internal medicine.
Dr. Grace has served as chair of the curriculum and academic policies committee; she is a member of the student success committee and is the faculty advisor for the Beta Phi chapter of Phi Delta Chi. She is also an ACPE self-study tri-chair, responsible for coordinating and reviewing the school accreditation process. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed pharmacy journals including American Journal of Health-Systems Pharmacy, Journal of Pharmacy Practice, Journal of Pharmacy Technology, Currents in Pharmacy Teaching and Learning, U.S. Pharmacist, and Pharmacy Times. Her community service at PBA includes co-leading a local medical mission trip to Belle Glade, Florida, providing health screenings and education to underserved areas.
Dr. Grace is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), and serves as both an active member and a former delegate for the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). She is currently the president for the Palm Beach chapter of Florida Society of Health System Pharmacists (PBSHP).
Dr. Grace received her Bachelor of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University and attended Palm Beach Atlantic University for her Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She then completed a general pharmacy practice residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan.
