Dr. Ashley Johnson graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2011 where she received her Doctorate of Pharmacy and also completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy. Dr. Johnson discovered her passion for teaching and research while completing her residency and has since been blessed to become a part of the PBA faculty as an assistant professor of pharmacy practice in drug information. The focus of her position will be teaching in drug information, literature evaluation, and the pharmacotherapy sequence, facilitating case studies, and precepting fourth year pharmacy students. Dr. Johnson is active in many professional organizations, including the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), the American Pharmacist Association (APhA), the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), the Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI), the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP), the Florida Pharmacist Association (FPA) and the Rho Chi Honor Society. Other professional achievements include recognition as the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy Outstanding Graduate in 2011 and receipt of the Mylan Institute of Pharmacy 2011 Excellence in Pharmacy Award.
