Palm Beach Atlantic University

The Annual Jay McCormick Classic hosted by PBA's Alumni Relations Office is a Salifish men's basketball game played in honor of McCormick '87, the late stand-out Sailfish basketball player. He was a four-year letter winner in the basketball program from 1983 to 1987, later becoming a teacher and basketball coach, which propelled him into the Sailfish Hall of Fame. He lost his fight with cancer in 2008.
