Palm Beach Atlantic University President William M.B. Fleming, Jr. will receive an honorary doctorate degree from Judson University at the Founders’ Day celebration Oct. 26. The university, established in 1963, is celebrating 49 years in Elgin, Ill.

Fleming was elected the eighth president of Palm Beach Atlantic University on May 7, 2012, after serving as interim president for the previous 14 months. He joined Palm Beach Atlantic in 1992 as vice president for development and is well known in the field of higher education for expertise in fundraising.
