The Sailfish Cup began in the spring semester of 1992 when Rinker Hall challenged Towers Hall to a sporting contest. The original contest had approximately five events. Additional residential teams were invited to participate in the following years. The event’s focus has been and remains to be building community among Palm Beach Atlantic University students.
The primary goal of the Sailfish Cup is to build a sense of community and tradition among students, halls, faculty and staff. Secondary goals include, but are not limited to, development of teamwork (leadership and fellowship), a sense of fair play and sportsmanship, and a stronger bond with the entire Palm Beach Atlantic family.
We look forward to this 23rd year of competition to see who becomes the Sailfish Cup 2018 Champs!
