Palm Beach Atlantic University’s students are preparing to be the hands and feet of Christ throughout the world this Spring and Summer in the U.S. and around the globe. Right now they are locked in a friendly battle for the top spot in fund raising as part of the Birdies for Children campaign in conjunction with the upcoming Honda Classic PGA golf tournament.
With the help of many donors, the PBA Student Missions team has raised $40,580 -- just behind the $42,630 raised so far by Palm Beach County Youth For Christ. The winning team will earn a prominent spot on the grounds of PBA National Resort & Spa during the tournamernt Feb. 27-March 4 -- all the better to spread the good word about PBA Missions.

Even better yet, for each dollar you give, PBA missions will receive an additional 10% from The Honda Classic. For instance, if you give $100 to support a member of the PBA Missions Team, what does he or she recieve? The student receives $110.
Just remember to answer “Yes,” when prompted “Were you solicited by a specific individual to pledge?” Then, in the text box that follows, type in the student’s name and country, such as “Jessica Coleman-United Kingdom.” Want to just support a specific trip? Just type in the trip destination, such as “Haiti.” Want to support student missions in general? Just leave that field blank and we’ll give it to the trip and student who needs it most.
Plus, for every $20 you give, you may enter in the contest to win a brand new 2012 Honda Insight by guessing how many birdies will be made at The Honda Classic. Enter one (1) guess for $20 or three (3) guesses for $50 (no limit on donation/max of 30 guesses).
