Grant Opportunities 

Grants are a type of financial aid that does not need to be repaid. Many grants are based on financial need, however, some grants also take into consideration other factors such as residency. To be considered for any federal or state grants, students must complete the FAFSA as soon as possible.

Federal Pell Grant

Eligibility: Undergraduate with eligible GPA and financial need.

Deadline: None

Application: FAFSA (online) (with PBA listed)

Amount: Up to $5,550

Renewable: Yes, yearly according to need

Funding: Federal grant; prorated per enrollment status 

Federal Supplementary Educational Opportunity Grant

Eligibility: Full time day undergraduate (seeking first degree) with an eligible GPA. Reserved for out of state students with financial need.

Deadline: Based on availability of funds

Application: FAFSA (online) (with PBA listed)

Amount: Up to $1,000

Renewable: Yes, yearly according to need and availability of funds

Funding: Federal grant  

Federal TEACH Grant 

Deadline: None

Amount: $4,000

Funding: Federal Grant prorated per enrollment status 

  Florida Resident Access Grant

 Eligibility: Full time undergraduate (seeking first degree) with an eligible GPA; resident of Florida.

Deadline: Fall: September 15^th 
                  Spring: February 15th

Application: FAFSA (online) (with PBA listed) & FRAG Application (online after acceptance to PBA)

Amount: $2150

Renewable: Yes, for up to 9 semesters

Funding: State grant  

Florida Student Assistance Grant

Eligibility: Full time undergraduate (seeking first degree) with an eligible GPA and financial need; resident of Florida.
