Gregory School of Pharmacy

Assistant/Associate Professor and Experiential Director – Institutional Practice

This position requires a PharmD degree, eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida, and completion of a pharmacy residency or equivalent previous academic or practice experience.  The Director reports to the Dean and is responsible for the planning, implementation, and assessment of institutional-based experiential education; preceptor and site recruitment, development, assessment, and recognition; and continual review and improvement of processes and outcomes to ensure sustained excellence of the experiential education program.  Didactic teaching expectations include participation in courses associated with both introductory and advance pharmacy practice experiences and other topics in area of interest.  Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one's faith into teaching and mentorship.  Faculty members are afforded a unique opportunity to teach in a supportive Christian environment that promotes spiritual growth as a means to personal and professional growth.

 

Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences

This position requires a degree in Pharmacy and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, biomedical science or a closely related science with an appropriate research background.  The successful candidate will teach introductory ocncepts in pharmaceutics and participate in a team-taught, multidisciplinary pharmacotherapy sequence.  This is a 12-month non-tenure-track position.  Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one's faith into teaching and mentorship.  Faculty members are afforded a unique opportunity to teach in a supportive Christian environment that promotes spiritual growth as a means to personal and professional growth.


Rinker School of Business

Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting

The Palm Beach Atlantic University Rinker School of Business seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Accounting.
Qualifications: A Ph.D. or D.B.A. in accounting with 18 graduate credit hours in accounting. A person who has completed all but a dissertation for an earned doctorate will also be considered to be qualified. Preference will be given to candidates who have professional accounting certifications such as CPA, CIA or CMA.
Applicants must have a Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith with traditional coursework. Responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in theatre, especially in lighting design and production, sound design and production, stagecraft and other technical theatre classes. Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling

Qualifications: The Graduate Counseling Program is seeking candidates for this Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling position who possess an earned PhD or Ed.D. from a regionally accredited institution in counselor education. A qualified candidate will be licensed or credentialed as a counseling provider and have experience in higher education instruction. Experience in providing clinical supervision to counseling students is preferred but not required. The position requires teaching graduate students in mental health counseling, marriage and family counseling, school counseling and/ or addictions counseling classes. Candidates must have a Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith with counseling. This graduate program is committed to being Clinically Professional and Distinctively Christian.

 

 

 


School of Arts and Sciences

Assistant/Associate Professor of French and Humanities

The Palm Beach Atlantic University School of Arts and Sciences seeks Assistant/Associate Professor of French Language and Literature, and Humanities. The ability and education also to teach Spanish language courses would be an advantage.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in French, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in French language and literature. An applicant with a master's degree and the relevant graduate hours may also be considered. The employed faculty member's teaching areas will be in French language and literature, and in the interdisciplinary Humanities courses in our core program.
