Gregory School of Pharmacy

Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmacy; Director of Experiential & Interprofessional Programs
Type: Full-Time Faculty

The Senior Director of Experiential and Inter-Professional Programs (SDEIPP) serves as the administrative leader of experiential and inter-professional programs within the School of Pharmacy. The SDEIPP oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of the introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences, as well as inter-professional education programming. The SDEIPP serves as a strategic liaison between the School of Pharmacy and the Pharmacy/Healthcare Community. Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one's faith into teaching and mentorship.

Qualifications: A Doctor of Pharmacy degree, along with the completion of a residency or pharmacy fellowship (or equivalent experience) is required. Previous instructional experience within the profession of pharmacy is preferred. Previous administrative experience is preferred. 

Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences

Palm Beach Atlantic University, Gregory School of Pharmacy invites applications for a 12 month nontenure-track faculty position in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The successful candidate would be required to teach Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, and Medicinal Chemistry in integrated medication therapy management modules. An appropriate research background should be evident with an expectation to contribute to ongoing research efforts in the department. This position is available immediately and application review will continue until the position is filled. 

Qualifications: The successful candidate should have a PhD in either pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related biomedical science. A background in pharmacy is optimal but not required. This candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills with evidence of teaching courses in pharmacology, pathophysiology and medicinal chemistry to students in the Doctor of Pharmacy program. Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one's faith into teaching and mentorship. Department of Pharmacy Practice, Chair

The Chair is a full-time faculty member of the School of Pharmacy. With the appropriate/necessary course release, the Chair serves as the academic and administrative leader of the Department of Pharmacy Practice. Demonstrating expertise within the discipline of pharmacy practice, the Chair exemplifies and supports quality and research, and guides the development of the same in the faculty of the department - ensuring the delivery of quality courses and professional practice experiences for students. Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one's faith into teaching and mentorship.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice

Palm Beach Atlantic University's Gregory School of Pharmacy seeks a 12 month, full-time faculty member for a position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for didactic teaching in courses/topics appropriate to the candidate's expertise, with a desired emphasis on clinical pharmacokinetics and issues related to ambulatory care and/or community pharmacy practice. The candidate will additionally develop and/or maintain a successful clinical experiential practice at a local healthcare facility, contribute to operational aspects of the School of Pharmacy, and engage in research/scholarship in the associated areas of expertise. 

Qualifications: Minimum requirements include a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 residency. The candidate must be eligible for licensure in Florida. The candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one's faith into teaching and mentorship.

School of Arts & Sciences

Assistant/Associate Professor of Biology

The School of Arts & Sciences is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor of Biology faculty position at the university's main campus in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a full-time faculty position to teach lower and upper division biology courses. The teaching load is 24 contact hours annually. Faculty members are expected to have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, active scholars in their fields, and to participate in service to the university and the broader community. Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling/School Counseling

The AA Professor of Psychology and Counseling is responsible for teaching courses in the undergraduate psychology and graduate counseling programs, with an emphasis in the school counseling track. In addition, the Assistant/Associate Professsor of Psychology and Counseling will be responsible for advising students in the psychology and counselor education programs at the Orlando Campus, and will serve on the faculty committees as determined by the dean. The Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology and Counseling will report to the Dean of the School of Education & Behavioral Studies. 

Qualifications: Education: An earned Doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D. from a CACREP accredited counselor education program. Experience: appropriate teaching experience with research capability. Registered play therapist (RPT) Certification desirable, but not required. 

 

 


School of Music & Fine Arts 

Assistant/Associate Professor of Art

Qualifications: M.F.A. in Art; Special consideration given to candidates with previous secondary teaching experience in order to oversee art education. Rinker School of Business

Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance
Type: Full-Time Faculty

The Assistant or Associate Professor teaches classes in his/her discipline, advises students, conducts scholarly activity, and serves on committees. 

Qualifications: Required to hold a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in a business related field, and 18 graduate credit hours in Finance or a closely related business discipline. A person who has completed all but a dissertation for an earned doctorate will also considered to be qualified.
