Gregory School of Pharmacy

Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Type: Full Time Faculty

This position requires a degree in Pharmacy and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, biomedical science or a closely related science with an appropriate research background. The successful candidate will teach introductory concepts in pharmaceutics and participate in a team-taught, multidisciplinary pharmacotherapy sequence. This is a 12-month non-tenure-track position. Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one's faith into teaching and mentorship. Faculty members are afforded a unique opportunity to teach in a supportive Christian environment that promotes spiritual growth as a means to personal and professional growth.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Drug Information
Type: Full Time Faculty

This position requires a PharmD degree, eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida, and completion of a pharmacy residency (PGY-1 [preferred but not required] and drug information residency). The successful candidate will co-operate the school's drug information center and precept 16 to 18 fourth year students per year in a 4-week advanced practice experience rotation (2 students per rotation). didactic teaching expectations include participation in the drug information course sequence (drug information, literature evaluation, doctoral seminar) and a team-taught, multidisciplinary pharmacotherapy sequence and a case studies, problem-based learning course. Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one's faith into teaching and mentorship. School of Communication and Media

Assistant/Associate Professor of Theatre

Qualifications: Ph.D. or M.F.A. in Theatre. Responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in theatre, especially in lighting design and production, sound design and production, stagecraft and other technical theatre classes. Lighting design experience at the collegiate and/or professional level necessary. Must have a Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith with traditional coursework.

 

Assistant/Associate Professor of Cinema-Television

Qualifications: Terminal degree in television, film or closely related discipline preferred; candidates with an MA in one of these disciplines and significant professional experience will be considered.  Responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in digital media production and postproduction.  Experience in high definition video techonology and AVID non-linear editing systems essential.  Must have a Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith with traditional coursework.

Assistant/Associate Professor of French and Humanities

The Palm Beach Atlantic University School of Arts and Sciences seeks Assistant/Associate Professor of French Language and Literature, and Humanities.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in French, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in French language and literature. An applicant with a master's degree and the relevant graduate hours may also be considered. The employed faculty member's teaching areas will be in French language and literature, and in the interdisciplinary Humanities courses in our core program. Assistant Professor of Politics

The Department of History and Political Science at Palm Beach Atlantic University seeks a Ph.D. in Political Science, with a concentration in American government. The applicant should be well prepared to teach a broad range of political science courses in the field of American government, as well as courses in public administration and policy, the methodology of the social sciences, and our interdisciplinary Humanities sequence. 

Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Political Science by the time of appointment, with relevant teaching experience and research record. Applicants holding an M.A. degree and currently pursuing and nearing completion of a doctorate in Political Science also will be considered.  The applicant must have an active Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith with traditional coursework.

Two Full-Time Faculty positions are available at Palm Beach Atlantic University, School of Nursing Doctorate of Nursing Practice program. Delivery method is hybrid/online.


Qualifications: Current Florida ARNP license (or eligible) is required with a national certification; Doctoral degree is required; DNP or PhD in Nursing preferred. FNP is preferred, but ANP/Geri is acceptable. Minimum five years teaching experience, with online teaching preferred. Individuals with extraordinary experience in non-APN areas such as health informatics and established programs of research are also welcome to apply. Positions are 12 month; rank and salary commensurate with experience and credentials.

Qualifications: Required: Master's Degree in Nursing, Florida Registered Nurse, BLS/CPR, 2-3 years of full-time teaching in nursing.  Recommended: Post Master's graduate work leading to doctoral degree in nursing or related area.  Must have a Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith with traditional coursework.  Responsibilities: teaching BSN nursing students in both class and clinical environments in the areas of fundamentals, medical-surgical, pediatrics and/or psychiatric nursing.

Athletic Training - School of Education and Behavioral Studies

Assistant or Associate Professor of Athletic Training/Clinical Education Coordinator, Athletic Training Program

Palm Beach Atlantic University is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor of Athletic Training/Clinical Education Coordinator, Athletic Training Program.  This person will teach athletic training courses in the CAATE-accredited entry-level (undergraduate) athletic training program.  Advise pre-professional and professional athletic training students, and assist in recruiting potential students.  Assist in meeting the department's mission and education objectives for students.  Provide oversight of program's clinical education.  Direct the appropriate assignment of student clinical educational opportunities.  Recruit, select and appoint appropriately qualified clinical sites and clinical preceptors.  Provide preceptor training and mentorship.  Provide oversight of the day-to-day operation of clinical education and appropriate supervision of the students.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Athletic Training or related; certified by the Board of Certification; licensed by the Florida Department of Health Board of Athletic Training, or eligible; a Christian commitment and the ability to integrate a Christian worldview into teaching and advising.  Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in Athletic Training or related field; expereince teaching in an athletic training program; experience as a clinical preceptor or in athletic training program administration.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing

Palm Beach Atlantic University's Rinker School of Business seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing.

Qualifications: Assistant/Associate Professor is required to hold a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in a business related field with 18 graduate credit hours in marketing.  A person who has completed all but a dissertation for an earned doctorate will also be considered to be qualified.
