Gregory School of Pharmacy

 

Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmacology
Type: Full Time Faculty

This position requires a Ph.D. in pharmacology or a closely related science. The successful candidate will teach introductory concepts in pharmacology and participation in a team-taught, multidisciplinary pharmacotherapy sequence. This is a 12-month non-tenure-track position. Minimum requirements include a Ph.D degree with an appropriate research background. Faculty members are afforded a unique opportunity to teach in a supportive Christian environment that promotes spiritual growth as a mean to personal and professional growth. Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one’s faith into teaching and mentorship.

 

Director of Experiential Programs – Community and Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice
Type: Full Time Faculty

This position requires a PharmD degree, eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida, and completion of a community or ambulatory care residency or commensurate experience.  The successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of experiential training, both introductory and advanced, based in community practice.  This responsibility includes development, maintenance and quality assurance of training sites.  The Director will also serve a key role in preceptor training and didactic teaching as it relates to experiential education through the professional development sequence associated with introductory practice experience.  Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one's faith into teaching and mentorship. The Palm Beach Atlantic University Rinker School of Business seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing.
Qualifications: Earned Doctorate in Marketing, with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Marketing (candidates nearing completion of a doctorate will be considered). Preference will be given to candidates who have 18 graduate credit hours in management in addition to the 18 graduate credit hours in marketing.   Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Qualifications: The English Department at Palm Beach Atlantic University seeks a Ph.D. in English for a Generalist position. The applicant should be well prepared to teach a broad range of Composition and interdisciplinary Humanities courses as well as some courses for the English major. Especially desirable specialties include World Literature (non-Western preferred), Composition/Rhetoric, Linguistics, or Professional/Technical Writing.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in English by the time of appointment, with relevant teaching experience and research record.   Applicants holding an M.A. degree and currently pursuing and nearing completion of a doctorate in English also will be considered.  The applicant must have an active Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith with traditional coursework. Please provide a list of courses you are able to teach in the areas listed above. School of Education and Behavioral Studies


Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology

Qualifications: The Graduate Counseling Psychology Program is seeking candidates for this Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling/Psychology position who possess an earned PhD, EdD, or PsyD from a regionally accredited institution. A qualified candidate will be licensed or credentialed as a counseling provider and have experience in higher education instruction. Experience in providing clinical supervision to counseling students is preferred but not required. The position requires teaching graduate students in mental health counseling, marriage and family counseling, school counseling and/ or addictions counseling classes. Candidates must have a Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith with counseling and psychology. This graduate program is committed to being Clinically Professional and Distinctively Christian.
 

Director of Graduate Counseling Psychology Program/ Associate Professor of Psychology

The School of Education and Behavioral Studies at Palm Beach Atlantic University is seeking an energetic and creative program director who will provide forward-thinking leadership to an established graduate program that has produced over 1,000 graduates since its founding in 1995. The program is poised to develop a doctoral program in addition to enhancing the existing five counseling program tracks (mental health, marriage and family, school, addictions, and generalist).
Consistent with the program theme, Clinically Professional, Distinctively Christian, the University seeks a proven leader who has demonstrated success as a professor and practitioner in providing counseling services from a Christ-centered perspective. The ideal candidate should possess an earned Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D. from a CACREP accredited university, be a licensed or credentialed counseling provider, and be familiar  with CACREP and similar accreditation standards and procedures. The preferred candidate will have experience in leading a counseling program as a department chair or program director of a CACREP approved program. The director should be eligible for appointment to the rank of associate professor or professor of counseling.
The prospective director will provide leadership along with the dean in budgeting, curriculum, personnel, and resource allocation, and will be the supervisor of the ten full-time and ten part-time faculty situated on the West Palm Beach and Orlando campuses. The director position will be a twelve-month administrative position with responsibilities for teaching one class per semester.
The program currently has over 100 students on the Orlando campus and over 200 students on the main campus in West Palm Beach. The director will reside in West Palm Beach, but travel to Orlando, and report directly to the Dean of the School of Education and Behavioral Studies. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
As with all faculty members at Palm Beach Atlantic University, this director/faculty member must have a personal commitment to the Christian faith and the ability to integrate Christian faith with counseling.

The director will be charged with developing an innovative doctoral program and achieving specialty accreditation.

The director will reside in West Palm Beach and report directly to the Dean of the School of Education and Behavioral Studies. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
