Gregory School of Pharmacy

Director of Experiential & Interprofessional Programs; Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice 
Type: Full-Time Faculty

The Senior Director of Experiential and Inter-Professional Programs (SDEIPP) serves as the administrative leader of experiential and inter-professional programs within the School of Pharmacy. The SDEIPP oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of the introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences, as well as inter-professional education programming. The SDEIPP serves as a strategic liaison between the School of Pharmacy and the Pharmacy/Healthcare Community. Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one's faith into teaching and mentorship.

Qualifications: A Doctor of Pharmacy degree, along with the completion of a residency or pharmacy fellowship (or equivalent experience) is required. Previous instructional experience within the profession of pharmacy is preferred. Previous administrative experience is preferred. 

Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences

Palm Beach Atlantic University, Gregory School of Pharmacy invites applications for a 12 month nontenure-track faculty position in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The successful candidate would be required to teach Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, and Medicinal Chemistry in integrated medication therapy management modules. An appropriate research background should be evident with an expectation to contribute to ongoing research efforts in the department. This position is available immediately and application review will continue until the position is filled. 

Qualifications: The successful candidate should have a PhD in either pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related biomedical science. A background in pharmacy is optimal but not required. This candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills with evidence of teaching courses in pharmacology, pathophysiology and medicinal chemistry to students in the Doctor of Pharmacy program. Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one's faith into teaching and mentorship. Chair, Department of Pharmacy Practice

The Chair is a full-time faculty member of the School of Pharmacy. With the appropriate/necessary course release, the Chair serves as the academic and administrative leader of the Department of Pharmacy Practice. Demonstrating expertise within the discipline of pharmacy practice, the Chair exemplifies and supports quality and research, and guides the development of the same in the faculty of the department - ensuring the delivery of quality courses and professional practice experiences for students. Candidate must demonstrate a Christian commitment and a willingness to integrate one's faith into teaching and mentorship.

School of Communication and Media

Qualifications: This position requires a terminal degree in Theatre, Responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in theatre, especially in the areas of stage performance and musical theatre, including acting, auditions, voice, and directing. Position may entail teaching other courses as necessary. Must have a Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith with traditional coursework. 

 

 

Library

Digital Services Librarian

This position collaborates in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of digital projects to enahance user experience and improve workflows within the library. The primary focus of the position is administering core library systems including the library discovery interface (Primo), library management system (Alma), and other digital service tools (LibGuides, ArchivesSpace, Contentdm, Etc.) ensuring successful delivery of integrated services that provide seamless user access to resources. This individual will work closely with the Collection Management Team in supporting the management and troubleshooting of the Library's digital resources, including e-books, journal subscriptions, databases, and other digital assets. This positin will also participate in scheduled reference and instructional services including evening and weekend rotation. This is a faculty position with support for promotion and opportunities for broader University service. 

 

Qualifications: A graduate degree in library science from an ALA - Accredited institution, previous experience in an academic library, and previous experience managing electronic resources in a library setting required. 

 


School of Nursing

Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Program

Qualifications: This position requires current Florida ARNP License (or eligible) with National Certification in APN Population - Family. Doctoral degree required, DNP or PhD in Nursing preferred. Minimum five years teaching experience, online teaching preferred. 

Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing

Palm Beach Atlantic University's School of Nursing is seeking a Full Time Faculty Position to teach BSN nursing students in both class and clinical environments in the areas of Medical Surgical and High Acuity nursing, or Pediatric Nursing. 

Qualifications: This position requires a Master's Degree in nursing, Florida Registered Nurse, BLS/CPR, 2-3 years of full-time teaching in nursing. Must have a Christian commitment and the ability to integrate Christian faith with traditional course work. Recommended: Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field. 


School of Arts & Sciences

Assistant/Associate Professor of Biology

The School of Arts & Sciences is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor of Biology faculty position at the university's main campus in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a full-time faculty position to teach lower and upper division biology courses. The teaching load is 24 contact hours annually. Faculty members are expected to have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, active scholars in their fields, and to participate in service to the university and the broader community. The minimum requirement is a Ph.D. in biology completed by August 2017. The Department of Biology is committed to the academic success of its students that includes advising and mentoring. 

 


School of Ministry

Assistant Professor of Biblical & Theological Studies

Palm Beach Atlantic University's School of Ministry is seeking a Full Time Faculty Position in Biblical & Theological Studies. 

Qualifications: This position requires a Ph.D or Th.D. in Theology or Church History. Ability to teach systematic theology and historical theology is required. Experience teaching graduate courses in historical theology, particularly reformation is desired. Experience in Church ministry is strongly desired. Must have a Christian commitment along with the ability to intentionally integrate Christian faith in coursework.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling/School Counseling

The AA Professor of Psychology and Counseling is responsible for teaching courses in the undergraduate psychology and graduate counseling programs, with an emphasis in the school counseling track. In addition, the Assistant/Associate Professsor of Psychology and Counseling will be responsible for advising students in the psychology and counselor education programs at the Orlando Campus, and will serve on the faculty committees as determined by the dean. The Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology and Counseling will report to the Dean of the School of Education & Behavioral Studies. 

Qualifications: Education: An earned Doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D. from a CACREP accredited counselor education program. Experience: appropriate teaching experience with research capability. Registered play therapist (RPT) Certification desirable, but not required.
