Carla Crow, a budget analyst for the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, has been appointed controller at Palm Beach Atlantic University, effective June 2.
Crow brings with her both high-level accounting knowledge and more than 20 years of experience in both government and not-for-profit accounting. Before joining the county’s Office of Financial Management and Budget in 2011, she previously worked for Southeastern University as assistant controller and the School Board of Pasco County as manager of the school district’s accounting department.
In the community, Crow is active at United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches, where her husband, Kent Crow, is senior pastor. The Crows live in West Palm Beach.
“Carla’s strong university financial management experience and her involvement in ministry at the church her husband pastors make her a good fit for Palm Beach Atlantic University,” said John Kautz III, PBA’s senior vice president for Finance, Administration and Planning.
Crow graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in accounting. She has an MBA from Southeastern University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
