The Office of Continuing Pharmacy Education in the Gregory School of Pharmacy has submitted a self-study to ACPE for approval to provide continuing education for Pharmacists throughout the country.

The first continuing pharmacy education (CPE) event was held in conjunction with with the American Pharmacist Association (APhA), a Pharmacy Based Immunization Delivery Certification Program on September 19, 2009.

Pharmacists from Miami to Vero Beach attended the event. The training and the lectures were provided by PBA's Dr. Elias Chahine, an expert in Infectious Disease, and by Dr. Marile Santamarina, an expert in Pharmacy Practice, who holds a Masters degree in Immunology.

PBA's School of Nursing also assisted with the help of Hannah Giboney who assisted with vaccination procedures.
