Christian Life

PBA's Christian Life is evident all across campus - from the positive attitudes towards service to on-campus small groups.

Christian Life

Your Christian faith will thrive at Palm Beach Atlantic University. That’s what happens when you learn at a university that allows you to express your faith in so many ways — through studies, through service, even through fun. You’ll feel Christ’s presence in all you do at PBA, including:

Being of Service

Workship: A Tradition of Service Since 1968

Workship is a distinctive community service program that responds to human needs with Christ-like action in the community and the world. Through community service, students can discern their vocation and develop a life-long habit of servant leadership. To date, Palm Beach Atlantic students have volunteered more than 2.6 million hours.

Attending Worship

PBA believes in extending hands toward those in our local community.

When the stresses of college life get to be too much — or you just want to recharge your faith, step into the beautiful DeSantis Family Chapel, the spiritual focal point on campus. With four weekly services, meeting your chapel requirement will be effortless. You can also expand your leadership skills by getting involved in activities like the student-led Thursday Night Live services. Want to further enhance your faith? Join a campus bible study, ministry team, or prayer group or join a local church.

Extending Your Service Overseas

Through PBA’s mission trips, you can be the hands and feet of Christ in nearly a dozen countries — from Bolivia to Germany, Chile to Japan.

Work in an orphanage. Volunteer at a medical clinic. Build houses. Teach English.
Wherever you go and whatever you do, you have an opportunity to model Christ through your actions. You’ll impact your own life while impacting the life of others.
